Cataract is the clouding of the normally transparent lens in the eye. It lowers the degree of transparency and thus the objects seen will become blur.

Good Vision is not just the result of healthy eyes-it also depends on an intact link between the eyes and the vision centers of the brain. There are also nerve diseases that can copromise vision by affecting the tissues that surround and support the eye. These include eye movement disorders and thyroid eye disease. Nerve Disorders that affect vision can strike at any age but they are common in older age.
 
How to Protect Our Eyes:-
  • Make habit to clean your eyes daily.
  • Rest ur eyes for a while if they are tired.
  • Wear Prescription glasses, if needed, with polycarbonate lenses.
  • Read under sufficient n uniform ilumin-ation.
  • Watch out for pointy things, such as tree branches.
  • If ur eyes feel uncomfortable then consult an eye doctor.
