Research in the Microbial Physiology group focuses on the physiological, biochemical and molecular analysis of the func-tion, mechanism and regulation of enzymes in the (network of) metabolic pathways in bacteria
Oral microbiology is the study of the microorganisms of the oral cavity and the interactions between the oral microorg-anisms with each other and with the host
Environmental Microbiology is devoted to the study of microbial processes in the environment, microbial commun-ities and microbial interactions. It provides a high profile vehicle for publication of the most innovative.
Some Views About Eyes n its Diseases.
Research in the Microbial Physiology group focuses on the physiological, biochemical and molecular analysis of the function, mechanism and regulation of enzymes in the (network of) metabolic pathways in bacteria (mainly actinomycetes). This information provides a firm basis for subsequent pathway metabolic engineering, using a combination of physiologic and genetic techniques and approaches, often also involving protein engineering steps.

The fundamental knowledge generated in these studies is used for the construction of bacterial strains overproducing primary and secondary metabolites, or for biotransformations. Bioexplore and the Centre for Carbohydrate Bioengineering (CCB) are associated with the Microbial Physiology group.
